Reminds me very much of Van Gogh's "Starry Night". I do see the Tim Burton/Pocahontas themes in there! What I love about this piece is that the background is just as exciting (if not more exciting) than the figure in the middle. There is so much movement going on in the background that it pulls a lot of attention. You used the lights and darks well for the figure herself. I can see a lot of detail in there, like on her shins and torso. Very detailed anatomy here-- I like it a lot!
